Terms & Conditions
Salon Spotter is a technology-based marketplace platform owned and operated by
Himalayan Technology (Proprietorship). The platform facilitates discovery and
booking between customers and independent third-party service providers.
Himalayan Technology does not provide salon or home services directly.
1. In-Salon Services (No Online Payment)
- For in-salon services, Salon Spotter acts only as a listing and discovery platform.
- No online payment gateway is enabled for in-salon services.
- Customers must visit the salon premises and make payment directly to the service provider.
2. Home Services (Payment Enabled)
- For home service bookings, customers may be required to make online payments.
- Payments are processed through authorized third-party payment gateways.
- Payments are collected by Himalayan Technology for settlement purposes only.
- Funds are released to service providers after successful completion of the service.
3. Payment
- Salon Spotter may facilitate online payments for selected services.
- Himalayan Technology collects payments on behalf of independent service providers.
- The platform does not retain funds beyond settlement purposes.
4. Service Responsibility
All services listed on the platform are performed by independent third-party service providers.
Service providers are solely responsible for service quality, professional conduct, hygiene,
safety, customer property, and compliance with applicable laws.
Himalayan Technology shall not be held liable for any claims arising from service delivery.
5. Refund & Cancellation
- Refunds and cancellations for in-salon services are handled directly between the customer and the service provider.
- For home services, refunds and cancellations are governed by Salon Spotter’s Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Himalayan Technology reserves the right to approve or reject refunds as per platform rules.
- Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method.
- Bank or payment gateway delays may occur.
6. Indemnity & Limitation of Liability
Users and service providers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Himalayan Technology from
any claims, losses, damages, disputes, or liabilities arising from service delivery,
misconduct, negligence, or policy violations.
Himalayan Technology shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
- All services are provided by independent third-party service providers.
- Service providers are solely responsible for:
- Quality, safety, and hygiene of services
- Tools, products, staff, and professional conduct
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Himalayan Technology is not liable for service-related issues.
8. Payout to Service Providers
- Payouts are processed only after successful completion of services.
- Payouts may be subject to platform fees, penalties, or adjustments as per Salon Spotter policies.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
10. Changes to Terms
Himalayan Technology reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updated terms will be posted on this page with the revised date.
